About 1924 Map of Athens

Warren H. Manning was one of the pioneers in the profession of Landscape architecture.  Numerous rolls of drawings from the office of Warren H. Manning were discovered during preparations for moving Iowa State University’s Department of Landscape Architecture into new facilities.  Although it has not been determined how the transfer of the drawing from Cambridge, Massachusetts to Ames, Iowa came about, it probably occurred during the period when Professor P. H. Elwood was in charge of the Department of Landscape Architecture.

See images below of some of the planning maps prepared by the offices of Warren H. Manning of Athens, Georgia.
