Departing University of Georgia President Michael Adams will leave behind a dramatically altered campus when he steps down June 30.
In the past 15 years the campus has grown by 40 percent, adding 6.2 million square feet of building space.
UGA has spent about $1.6 billion on construction in that 15 years, counting both new construction, renovation and infrastructure upgrades, said UGA Campus Architect Danny Sniff.
